  • Roosters: Roosters are not allowed.
  • Coop and enclosure: Chickens must be kept in a hen house (coop) with a fenced outdoor enclosure. The coop must be located in the rear yard, at least 15 feet from rear and side property lines, and 25 feet from neighboring dwelling units on abutting lots.
  • Coop requirements: The coop must be covered, predator-resistant, and well-ventilated. It must also provide a minimum of 2 square feet per hen and be kept clean, dry, and sanitary at all times.
