Backyard chicken keeping in Johns Creek is subject to the following rules:

  • Permit requirement. Residents must obtain a permit from the city before keeping chickens on their property.
  • Certain zones only. Chickens can only be kept in specific residential zoning areas. Check with the local zoning department to confirm whether your property is in an eligible zone.
