  • Application Process: To apply for a permit, you must submit an application to RACC, accompanied by a non-refundable fee of $60.
  • Required Information: The permit application should include specific details about your property, including its zoning district, yard size, and the proposed location of the chicken coop.
  • Property Inspection: RACC will inspect your property to ensure it meets the requirements for keeping chickens.
  • Fenced Area Distance: One of the requirements is to have a fenced area at least 200 feet away from all property lines.
