    • R-1 Single-Family Residential (Low-Density)
    • R-2 Single-Family Residential (Medium-Density)
    • R-3 Urban Family Residential
    • R-4 Multiple-Family Residential
    • MH Mobile Home Residential
  • Number of Chickens: There is no limit on the number of chickens that can be kept, but they must be kept in sanitary enclosures with sufficient space. 
  • Remember that roosters are not allowed in Papillion, so you will need to get hens.
  • Coop Requirements: Chickens must be kept in a coop that provides at least 4 square feet of space per chicken. The coop must be kept clean and dry and should have a nesting box for each chicken.
